Leafhopper - Acericerus vittifrons

This is probably Acericerus vittifrons - it is likely to live on the Field Maple tree outside our garden. It is only 5mm long.

Grey Shoulder Knot moth
  A moth rescued from a water butt on Alwins Field allotments,
16 November 2023. It is a Grey Shoulder-knot moth (Lithophane ornitopus ssp. lactipennis).




Harvestman
  A large Harvestman, Alwins Field, 16 November 2023.
This is Odiellus spinosus. Note the eyes and the "trident" in the enlarged image of its head.




Centipede
  Centipede found under a log, Alwins Field, 2 November 2023.
This is a Cryptops species with 21 pairs of legs.




Shaggy Pholiota - Pholiota squarrosa
  This small group of half-eaten mushrooms was at the base of a dead Forsythia in our garden on 1 November 2023. They are the Shaggy Pholiota (Pholiota squarrosa).
