Ant Woodlouse found with black ants in their nest in our garden, Alwins Field, 21 March 2024. Ant Woodlice are blind: they live underground with the ants and clear up after them. At least the ants don't attack them. |

Larva of a Box-tree Moth (Cydalima perspectalis), Linslade Woods, 5 March 2024. This is a very young larva, about 6mm long. It was on a Box plant that had been dumped in the woods. |
